The Kir, named after Mayor Canon Felix Kir, originates in France as an aperitif that was created by bringing two of Burgundy’s “natural” resources together- black currants and Aligote white wine. This version adds a lighter touch with elderflower and a gentle spritz of soda for a refreshing sipper
